Parents/Students:
We are excited to announce a new BOARD BREAKING PROCESS. Instead of one Friday night seminar for Board Breaking, we will now offer a Board Breaking Week. During regular class times January 17th to 20th students will be practicing board breaking during the time we usually start with Sparring. Students will need to purchase one board at $5.00 to break for their “Purple Stripe”.
During the week of board breaking students will continue to practice breaking boards even after they have broken their “REAL” board. We will be using the re-breakable boards as well as heavy bags and hand pads. The goal is to develop more CONFIDENCE in our students abilities to break boards. This should also help develop a better understanding of the importance of quality of technique.
Once a student has purchased a board from the front desk, the student will receive a TICKET to give to SR. Master Longoria. Sr. Master will decide who and when each student will attempt to break the REAL BOARD each night. This way the Instructors can give a little more attention to any student that is needing some extra help.
